His students have received numerous awards at major competitions, including Santander, Montreal, Geneva, and the Chopin Competition in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A disciple of the renowned Russian pianist and teacher Dmitri Bashkirov, Eldar Nebolsin currently records for Naxos. Previously, he released two albums with Decca: the first as a soloist, featuring works by Chopin and Liszt, and the second with Chopin\u2019s Piano Concertos accompanied by the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin under the direction of Vladimir Ashkenazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1992, at just 17 years old, he won the Grand Prize and the Gold Medal at the 9th Paloma O\u2019Shea Santander International Piano Competition. Later, in 2005, Eldar Nebolsin was unanimously awarded First Prize at the inaugural edition of the Sviatoslav Richter International Piano Competition in Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In chamber music, Eldar Nebolsin collaborates with renowned musicians such as Janine Jansen, Julian Rachlin, Maxim Rysanov, Alexey Ogrintchouk, Ilya Gringolts, and Gustav Rivinius. Recent performances include partnerships with the Leipzig String Quartet, Barnab\u00e1s Kelemen, Mikl\u00f3s Per\u00e9nyi, Alexander Melnikov, and Wolfgang Emmanuel Schmidt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a soloist, he has performed with some of the world\u2019s most prestigious orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago and Sydney Symphony Orchestras, the Metropolitan Orchestra of Tokyo, the Orchestra dell\u2019Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Saint Petersburg and Moscow Philharmonics, and the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin.
